Air Fryer Chicken Roast

Preparation
  1. Wash the lemon and give it a good rub on a hard surface, like the kitchen counter, to break the cells and make it release its juices easier. Then cut it and squeeze it, setting aside the 2 tablespoons of fresh juice;
  2. Peel and wash the garlic, chopping it finely. Then, sprinkle a dash of salt and start making a pile out of it, with the flat of the knife. Repeat the paddling motion that will turn it into a fine paste and set aside your tablespoon of garlic paste;
  3. Start portioning all your other spices, to have them at hand.
Prepare the marinade
  1. Put all the dry ingredients, with the yogurt and the lemon juice, into a bowl;
  2. Stir well to obtain an even mixture;
  3. Cut the chicken into pieces ideal for serving sizes;
  4. Throw the chicken into the marinade, rub all over – use your clean hands to cover all the meat – and let it cool down, for about 20 minutes, into the fridge;
Cook the chicken in the air fryer
  1. Turn on the air fryer and set the preheat function to 360 F;
  2. When the temperature is reached, put the marinated chicken into the frying basket;
  3. Let it cook for approximately 20 minutes;
  4. When the marinade turned into a rich crust and the meat is tender inside, set it aside, on a serving platter;
  5. Serve with a salad of greeneries and lime as a side dish.
